Four Big Events and How Coaches Reach Them
On a big event day the normal coach stops close, streets shut and every group arrives at once. These four have published dates.
Dates first, then the coach plan
In date order: Nuremberg's Christkindlesmarkt, 27 November until Christmas Eve 2026. Cologne's street carnival, with Weiberfastnacht on 4 February 2027 and Rosenmontag four days later. Then Munich's Oktoberfest, from 18 September until 3 October 2027, with the Berlin race, now the GENERALI BERLIN-MARATHON, on Sunday 26 September in the middle of it.
Each event moves the coaches somewhere else. No coach may park or set down at the Theresienwiese; groups use the city's designated coach sites. In Nuremberg coaches set down at the edge of the old town. Cologne and Berlin close streets in the centre on the big day. Each year's coach plan is confirmed when booking.
Questions organisers ask
When should we book an event coach?
As soon as you have tickets or a fixed date. Send the event, the day, the times and the pickup address.
Do you sell event tickets?
No. We book the transport only. Tickets, stands and entry come from the organiser.
Can the coach wait near the Oktoberfest grounds?
No. Coaches may not park at the Theresienwiese or let passengers on and off in the streets beside it. They wait at a designated coach site.
